MAEA Fall Conference

The 2026 MAEA Conference will have small, in-person events in each of the four Regions on Friday, October 16th and our conference in person on Saturday, October 17th. Participants may choose to attend FRIDAY or SATURDAY or BOTH.
Friday, October 16th-

choose one of four in-person regional workshops at different art spaces around Maryland with a focus on hands on artmaking. Choose the Region you would like to attend regardless of where you live or work.

3 Professional Development Points.

Saturday, October 17th-

Join your art education community at Towson University Center for the Arts. The day will include hands on art making, presentations, exhibits, and more!

MAEA Fall Conference: Call for Panelists

We are looking for educators to participate in 50 minute panel discussions at the Saturday, October 17 MAEA Fall Conference

Panel Themes: 

Early Childhood- This session focuses on connecting educators who have successful Pre-K strategies and best practice with teachers new to teaching Pre-K. This is an opportunity to help others become more confident and excited with working with Pre-K!

Veteran Mentor- This is an opportunity for pre-service and early career educators to ask questions and learn from the collective wisdom of veteran teachers. From pedagogy to best practices to pro tips on classroom management and organization, we want veteran teachers excited to pass on their wisdom to the next generation of educators!
